  1. When reviewing applications of the candidates to membership in the Association (hereinafter – Candidate), the Panel of the Association (hereinafter – Panel) pays attention to experience and professionalism of the Candidate in the field of arbitration.
  2. Candidates must have professional education in law and must specialize in arbitration.
  3. Accomplishments of the Candidate in the field of arbitration should be recognized by peers (professional recognition).
  4. Candidate’s membership in professional associations.
  5. Other comparable experience or achievements (e.g., published articles, work as an arbitrator, or participation in arbitration proceedings).
  6. The Candidate has familiarized himself with the Internal Rules of the Association and the Code of Ethics of Members of the Association and is ready to abide by them.
  7. The Candidate understands that he may not be granted the membership in the Association without explaining the reason for the denial.
  8. The Candidate understands that the Association can contact him as a member of the Association from time to time with a request to explain some subtleties of arbitration in the country of his residence and practice.
  9. The Candidate understands that membership in the Association is free of charge and that he is free to withdraw from the Association at any time by emailing seven (7) calendar days’ notice to the Board of the Association at info@iacam.uk.
  10. The Candidate gives his consent to processing by the Association of his personal data communicated to the Association. The Association has the right to post name, surname and email address of the member of the Association on its website.
  11. The Candidate seeking to become a member of the Association submits a respective application to the Board of the Association and encloses documents proving that he meets the Requirements to the Member of the Association.
  12. Membership in the Association is free of charge.
